Winnebagoland Musky Club

  Focused on conservation and the pursuit of the elusive Musky

2nd Club outing of the year on June 22nd featured a nice musky being caught on the Winnebago System by Kevin Francis.  Kevin won the first Musky of the outing trophy with his personal best, a 49" musky trolling a bucktail in 4 feet of water on Lake Poygan. 


Thanks to all the people that participated in the Winnebagoland Musky Club June outing. We had a great lunch at the Fin 'N Feather in Winneconne. 

1st Club outing of the year was May 11th.  It featured a nice musky being caught and released by Lance Ziemer with a 39.5" musky. (Pictured with Rick Quade)   Chayse Wegner also boated and released a 36" musky.


This Winnebagoland Musky Club May outing was a great success. Thanks to the North Fond du Lac high school fishing team for joining us. A huge thanks to Korey Krupp for organizing the high school kids and Bob Kimball and his crew for all there support guiding the kids.


The First Musky of the 2018 May Outing was a 37" musky caught by our newest member, Wyatt Ziemer from North Fond du Lac High School.  It was caught on the lure given to him by the Club at the May meeting.

Dik Suszek caught the first musky for the May Club outing winning the coveted "First Musky of the Outing Trophy." This was the first musky of the 2016 season for the Winnebagoland Musky Club.  He looks like a happy man standing there at the get-together at Hayes Resort.

Tom Francis - August winner 

39" musky caught on Yellow Birch Lake during the Wisconsin Musky Club Alliance National Tournament in Eagle River using a hardhead by Roger Waters pictured below.

39" musky caught on Range Line Lake on a 10" Suick.
